    Payments team · Routing every payment to the right processor

    • Designed a highly available Payments Routing Engine that sends transactions to Visa, Stripe and Amex, with an ML model tuning each route - projected to save $200M over three years and lift success rates by 10%.
    • Built a PayU processor plugin for Amazon Retail in Europe handling 60K requests/sec with 3DS, tokenization and installments, then led the WorldPay → PayU migration that saves $3M a year.
    • Shipped an IaaS platform that onboards new payment methods end-to-end (infra, config, artifacts, plugins), cutting onboarding by two months.
    • Built a debt, collections and dunning microservice at 99.9% uptime (−30% ops overhead), and an async tips system paying 200K+ drivers.

    Transportation team · Keeping package data fast and cheap

    • Built a Tier-1 indexing system for a high-volume transportation data store on ECS, DynamoDB and Kinesis, serving real-time reads in under 15ms.
    • Designed event-driven orchestration for cold storage, notifications and indexing behind a database taking 40K requests/sec.
    • Tied data retention to delivery events with dynamic TTLs - 1 year down to 15 days, saving $3.6M a year in storage.
    • Rebuilt CI/CD so releases went from 3 days to 12 hours, and added rate limiting and circuit breakers for resiliency.

Every monster is a real incident - botnets, ransomware, data breaches - and a sarcastic AI villain, THE ALGORITHM, taunts you between years.
